Neighborhood Improvements

Facilitated the replacement of playground wood chips to improve safety for children using local parks.

Organized volunteers to clear fallen leaves from storm drains, helping reduce localized flooding and improve drainage.

Successfully advocated for the relocation of a proposed GLB utility box after neighbors raised concerns about its placement in front of their homes.

Successfully secured the installation of a library kiosk at Ed Sackfield Arena, making library services and resources more accessible and convenient for the community.


Community Safety

Assisted neighbors in establishing a Neighborhood Watch Program to strengthen neighborhood safety and community partnerships.

Coordinated with York Regional Police to conduct Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) assessments to enhance security around residential properties.




Traffic & Road Safety

Advocated for the installation of "Do Not Block Intersection" pavement markings at Granton Drive and 16th Avenue to improve traffic flow and intersection safety.

Secured traffic signal timing adjustments at Mural Street and 16th Avenue to reduce congestion and improve traffic operations.

Championed traffic calming initiatives throughout Ward 6 while advocating for the removal of measures that neighbors found ineffective or unpopular.
Resident Advocacy

Worked with Loblaws to secure temporary overnight parking for nearby condominium residents during garage maintenance, reducing inconvenience for affected neighbors.
